I was journaling this morning about last weekend and I have rarely been so challenged for words. Probably because my brain wasn’t as much the receptor of the words that I received and exchanged at Indigipallooza. It was a visceral, bodily experience. Bypassing the brain, straight to the heart. The one word that keeps coming up (right now accompanied by tears) is HOPE. What a gift. Thank you. Danke. Miigwech.
Yes it was fabulous, inspiring, informative, painful, humorous, community building..... It took me being at the 2nd day of the 2nd year to realize the overlap between Chickadee class speakers and the panel speakers. Our community is lucky you and Anna and Selya and all the volunteers gifted us this opportunity. And thanks for singing my book. Ha - typo but singing and signing are not so far apart. Safe travels and here's to rest!!
I came across this quote a number of years ago. It had a wonderful ring to it. Roll up my sleeves and dig in the dark chocolate colored soil—plant something—and build on that idea:
“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow”
