I got a flower dragon that I've wanted to get for years. Once, during a time of great stress, I saw a dragon tearing through the sky with its claws. In that moment, the world looked like a set to me, like it was painted on paper, easy to lose in a minute -- which of course is true. I've thought a lot about that moment, and I think I was the dragon. I had to destroy that world to change the way I was living. Anyway, the closest dragon I've ever seen to my dragon is made by a female Korean artist, and she didn't seem very interested in traveling so I kind of gave up on the idea of getting it unless I somehow traveled to Seoul sometime, but then she announced she was coming to NY for a working visit! Even though it was thoroughly impractical -- I'm spending so much money on this condo -- I had to take my chance and get my dragon.
